DIRECTIONS:

• Insert one (1) SEROFlora suppository into the vagina as needed, preferably before bedtime
• Mild infection requires one (1) suppository per day for 6-14 days
• More acute infection requires one (1) suppository twice a day for 6 days, or longer
• If subjected to chronic infections, using one (1) suppository a day during menstruation may help prevent infections.

We recommend using a pantyliner as some leakage from the product may occur.

DIRECTIONS WITH APPLICATOR:

• Remove the applicator from the packaging.
• Insert one (1) SEROFlora boric acid suppository in the cup of the applicator.
• Insert the applicator into the vagina as you would a tampon.
• Push in on the plunger to release the suppository.
• Remove the applicator and dispose of it.

Moisturizer is helpful during insertion.

Q: Is it safe to have intercourse after I have inserted the suppository?
A: We recommend not having intercourse until after the suppository has completely dissolved. This takes between 4-12 hours. We do not recommend having oral sex while using SEROFlora Boric Acid Suppositories.

Q: Can you use boric acid while pregnant?
A: Do not use if pregnant or nursing.

Q: What do the suppositories look like?
A: The suppositories look like a pill capsule. The suppository dissolves inside your vagina. The small size of our capsules (less than one inch) helps to minimize leakage.

Q: What are the possible issues with boric acid suppositories?
A: Some women may experience mild burning or irritation. This may occur if the suppository was not inserted far enough into the vagina or if you have any irritated or open skin within the vagina. Women may also experience watery leakage, so we recommend using a panty liner at night.

A: Yes! They are sterilized and individually wrapped.

A: They are disposable but can also be reused if washed properly with warm water and soap.
